Our Little Tinker Bell...

I have not been very good with keeping up on my blog so I did a few in a row mostly summer fun. As most of you already know Maddie is having another surgery on November 29Th ( 6 days ) and they will be doing her left hand, point and middle finger. Once again they will be cutting the bone and removing the growth plates in both fingers and also one knuckle. This time they are going to try and put a pin to help heal the bone faster and also try and get the fingers straight.

The surgery will be down in San Diego again and at 2pm with a check in time of noon. Not looking forward to her little tummy being hungry no solid food after midnight. The surgery should be about 4 hours long and then a few hours to wake up. We are hopeful that they will let us take her home again if she does well and it's not to late. I think we all heal better and faster at home. The cast will be on for 4 weeks since they can only leave the pins in for 4 weeks, can not risk infection so that is good news. We have an appointment for December 28Th to have it off.

Please keep us in prayer for the following:

Maddie stays healthy for the surgery, the drive down there ( she will know what's going to happen this time around which is never good), wisdom for the doctors, peace for Don and I, fast recovery in the hospital and at home and most importantly to have God's will be done!!
